The new villa in Kakumäe is an excellent example of modern, eco-friendly construction using innovative and sustainable materials.
Primostar's White Tank waterproofing solution keeps water out of the villa's underground part. The project started in late February, with Juhthunt OÜ as the main contractor and Concrete Construction Contractor OÜ handling the concrete work.
Materials used in the project:
- WPM® Crack Inducing Waterstops: control and waterproof shrinkage cracks.
- WPM® Metal Sheet Waterstops: waterproof construction joints against pressurized water.
- WPM® Formwork Waterstops: ensure smooth and strong concrete pours without weak spots.
- Kraso penetration solutions: Effective waterproofing for pipes and cables entering the building.
- Crystalline waterproofing concrete admixture: gives the concrete self-healing properties.
Additional Protection for Living Spaces
As the underground part of the villa will be used as living space, an additional EPO layer is applied to the foundation slab, along with a waterproof coating on the walls. This extra layer of protection prevents water vapor ingress, ensuring the safety and dryness of the living areas.
